Aegopodium podagraria 'Variegatum'
Snow on the Mountain
Green foliage with silver margin, very enthusiastic grower. Great for filling an area on a slope or beneath a tree.
Homeowner Growing & Maintenance Tips:
Aegopodium prefers to be grown in partial shade and is tolerant of almost any soil including those low in nutrients. Plants multiply by both creeping rhizomes and by seed. Deadheading the flowers as soon as they appear will help to cut back on self-seeding. Prefers cool weather and grows more quickly in cooler soil temperatures. If plants look ragged by late summer, simply mow them over with a lawnmower and new growth will quickly fill in.
